The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Holy Grace Polytechnic College is established to ensure continuous improvement in the overall quality of academic, administrative, and institutional activities of the college.
The IQAC functions as an integral part of the institution's quality assurance and enhancement mechanism. It promotes a culture of quality, monitors institutional performance, encourages best practices, and facilitates the systematic documentation of various academic and administrative activities.
Objectives of IQAC
- To develop a systematic and continuous approach towards quality enhancement in the institution.
- To monitor and improve the quality of teaching-learning processes.
- To encourage innovative and effective teaching methodologies.
- To promote student development, academic performance, and overall well-being.
- To encourage faculty development, training programmes, workshops, and seminars.
- To strengthen industry interaction, skill development, and placement-oriented activities.
- To collect and analyse feedback from students and other stakeholders for quality improvement.
- To promote best practices in academic and administrative activities.
- To maintain proper documentation and records of institutional activities.
- To support the institution in achieving its academic and institutional quality objectives.
Major Functions of IQAC
- Monitoring the quality of academic and administrative activities.
- Conducting periodic reviews of teaching-learning processes.
- Coordinating feedback collection and analysis.
- Organising faculty development programmes, workshops, seminars, and training activities.
- Promoting innovative practices and quality initiatives.
- Maintaining documentation related to quality enhancement activities.
- Preparing quality-related reports and maintaining institutional records.
- Encouraging collaboration with industries and other institutions.
- Reviewing student support and progression activities.
- Recommending measures for continuous institutional improvement.
