Right to Information (RTI)

The Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 provides citizens with the statutory right to obtain information held by public authorities, thereby strengthening transparency, accountability, and responsible administration.

Holy Grace Polytechnic College recognizes the importance of transparency in its academic and administrative functioning and is committed to complying with the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, wherever applicable.

The institution facilitates access to information in accordance with the procedures and provisions prescribed under the Act. Eligible applicants may seek information concerning the institution’s administrative, academic, and other activities that falls within the scope of the RTI Act.

The institution shall provide information through the prescribed procedure and within the time limits specified under the applicable provisions of the Act, subject to the exemptions and restrictions provided therein.

Information Available

Subject to statutory provisions and exemptions, information may be sought regarding admissions, academic programmes, fees, scholarships, administration, procurement, infrastructure, government orders, institutional policies, and other official records maintained by the institution.

Appellate Authority

If an applicant is dissatisfied with the response provided by the Public Information Officer, or does not receive a response within the prescribed period, the applicant may file a first appeal before the designated First Appellate Authority of the institution, in accordance with the provisions of the RTI Act.
