SC/ST Redressal Committee

The SC/ST Committee of Holy Grace Polytechnic College is constituted to safeguard the interests and welfare of students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The Committee promotes equal opportunities, social inclusion, dignity, and a discrimination-free educational environment for all students.

Objectives

• To ensure equal educational opportunities for SC/ST students.
• To address grievances and complaints related to discrimination or unfair treatment.
• To create awareness about government schemes, scholarships, reservations, and other welfare measures available to SC/ST students.
• To support students in accessing institutional and government welfare facilities.
• To promote an inclusive and respectful campus environment.
• To monitor and assist in resolving genuine concerns of SC/ST students.

Functions of the Committee

• Receive and examine complaints or grievances from SC/ST students.
• Take appropriate steps for the timely redressal of genuine grievances.
• Create awareness regarding available scholarships and welfare schemes.
• Monitor the academic and general welfare of SC/ST students.
• Maintain appropriate records of complaints and actions taken.
